Sparks from the Raging Fire...

Let us share a moment of repartee...

In the middle of a talk a woman asks a question, "Have you ever felt ashamed of yourself?"
Without missing a beat, Sharmaji shot back, "Yes, I feel ashamed of myself when I feel ashamed of myself."

The same lady at the end of the talks asks, "How do you know when it's choice and when it's destiny?"
Sharmaji said, "Your choices are your destiny, period. ... You can't imagine how free you are to change your entire past. You can unwrite everything."

Each of his sessions is very unique. The result is powerful and transforming. We never know when he will decide to take us on a past life regression or give a guided meditation. It truly is an adventure in consciousness being with Sharmaji. Along with making sure we have an experience in meditation, he actually said, “What we are doing is a live adventure in consciousness.”

Here are more tidbits from one of the sessions:

“If spirituality is an issue, it’s not worth practicing.”

“In spite of whatever you do, you are leading a spiritual life if God is a real and constant living presence for you personally.”

“A spiritual person knows he is not the doer. He says, ‘I am the instrument, God, play me well.’”

“If we pursue this we will know why we were born. It will irrigate the field of our memory in our consciousness, in our meditation. That is the essential difference between Wednesday and Sunday meditations.”

“If we don’t recapitulate all our memories now, they will come back to us after we leave the body.”

“What we learn on Wednesday we practice on Sunday. On Monday we talk about it; on Wednesday we have an experience of it in meditation; and on Sunday we externalize and crystallize those experiences and bring them back to our conscious mind. We do that inside ourselves so when we close our eyes today we are not blind, we see.”

“What we earn on Wednesday we experience on Sunday.”

“Spiritual life is about letting nothing touch you.”

“Everything comes back to you, nothing goes away.”

“Every problem comes to you hanging on to the tail of a desire.”

Those of you unable to attend, we know you are with us in spirit and we send our love to you. I thank God for Sharmaji’s presence in my life. I know this is my opportunity to catch something very precious for myself for all eternity.
